Computation of electromagnetic lightning response using moments method

Calculation of electromagnetic response due to lightning surge at a point on transmission line using summation of moments in a double power series is established. At the space point, the vector magnetic potential, the scalar inducing and induced electric potentials are obtained. Solutions of electromagnetic impact elements generated on a transmission line by lightning surge have the significance of providing proper design basis for the protection system required.
