Abstract :
The object of this paper is to present an experimental study of polycrystalline ferrites of composition M
xFe
3-x-ΔO
4(

) with M = Fe
2+Mn
2+, Ni
2+and Co
2+at low frequencies. The samples were obtained with the help of ceramic techniques and carefully analysed by X-ray diffraction and atomic absorption spectra. After sintering at 1400-1700 K, the ferrites were rapidly quenched in liquid nitrogen in order to preserve vacancies.
