Abstract :
In this work an attempt is made for the Calculation of the forces and the current density in a cylindrical shell, when the excitation is a circular cylinder which is placed inside the shell at an arbitrary position. The distribution of the current density is calculated either inside the shell or inside the conductor of the excitation. For this purpose an integral formulation is used. For the numerical treatment of the problem the method of moments is applied.
