Abstract
Two kinds of bubbles, small circular bubbles and normal elliptical bubbles, have been observed at the same bias field in [111] misoriented (YSm Lu Ca)3 (Fe Ge)5 O12 H+ implanted samples. Static and dynamic experiments were performed on these bubbles in order to characterize them. Strong in-plane orthorombic like anisotropy exists in these samples and these two kinds of bubbles may be correlated with the eight wall states observed by Konishi in [110] oriented garnet films. Transitions from normal to small bubbles occured only when the in-plane field was applied along the easy axis of magnetization of the implanted layer. The behaviour of closure domains seems to be preponderant for driving the observed transitions.
