Abstract :
Magnetic stray fields of asymmetric Permalloy chevron transport structures were calculated and measured. A combined procedure of Finite Element - and Boundary Integral - Method was used for calculations of the stray fields. The measurements of the stray fields were carried out by a computer controlled vibrating pick-up magnetometer with high local resolution. The comparison between the calculated and measured stray fields shows a good agreement. The results will be discussed.
