Abstract :
The non-stationary statistical property of GPS error makes it difficult to design efficient GPS aided inertial navigation systems. To tackle the problem, a systematic way to design the robust damping loop for the GPS/INS vertical channel is developed. Simulation results show that the proposed filter performs well, even in the presence of irregular GPS error.
