Tandem switching characteristics for laser diode optical switches

Abstract :
The switching characteristics of three laser diode optical switch modules connected in tandem were measured. The measured isolation characteristics were coincident with the sum of the individual isolation characteristics. The transmitted optical pulse waveform was not distorted through the three connected LDSW modules.
