Abstract :
Calculated values of inductance of steel re??nforced aluminum cable, presented in this paper, show that previously published values of inductance obtained experimetally are in error by amounts ranging up to 5 per cent. Furthermore, all these errors are on the low side, that is, the unsafe side from the standpoint of the design engineer.
