Abstract
Curves of circumferential magnetic induction of a supermalloy tape wound core obtained by the de magnetizing effect are presented, They exhibit, for high radial applied fields, negative susceptibilities, and show the impossibility of saturating the sample. These features are interpreted as secondary effects of the radial field employed to magnetize the sample.
