Abstract :
For cylindrical ferromagnetic tests, the inner magnetic field has a radial distribution, and magnetic permeability varies along a radius. A comparison of experimental measurements versus theoretical cylindric distribution of magnetic field in a massive ferromagnetic sample is presented. A simplified model was adopted of the penetration of magnetic field tests. Theoretical values of the induced tension in the search coil of a differential device are commensurate with those measured.
