Abstract :
Motivated by the recently proven theorem about the statistical properties of nonlinearly distorted phase-shift keyed (PSK) signals, we show that the theorem holds not only for PSK sequences but that it can be directly extended for M-QAM sequences constructed from independent quarternary PSK and binary PSK sequences.
