Abstract :
Existence of the proximity layer in Nb and NbN films leads to a peculiar dependence of the critical temperature upon the film thickness. Expressions describing Tcfor S_{\\alpha }-S_{\\beta } and S_{\\alpha }-N_{\\beta } proximity systems are obtained. The theory allows to explain the dependence Tc(L) which has been observed experimentally. Measurements of Tccan be used in order to determine the electronic density of states in the surface layer.
