Abstract :
This letter describes the application of the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method to the simulation of extremely low frequency (ELF) electromagnetic signals under water. This requires substantial modification to the traditional FDTD method, as well as the development of an analytic method needed to verify the accuracy of the FDTD method.
