Abstract
EquiTest, a framework for the analysis of error in dynamic posturography, is described. Results presented indicate that systematic errors may be present when force plate data are used to estimate body sway. The response parameters in EquiTest are derived from measured forces. Two of these parameters, equilibrium score (ES) and strategy score (SS), are analyzed. ES is shown to be affected by the dynamic component of body sway. The analysis of error for SS suggests that this score is a poor indicator of the relative movements of the upper and lower body.<>
