Abstract :
A procedure for the treatment of multiply connected regions in eddy-current problems is presented. In particular, the algorithm refers to the two-component electric vector potential formulation using edge elements. The additional degrees of freedom arising from multiply connected boundaries are determined directly, exploiting the description of the mesh in terms of the tree and co-tree already introduced for the eddy-current formulation
