  • Abstract
    An RF optical synthesiser using a diode-pumped solid-state two- frequency laser as the voltage-controlled oscillator of an integrated PLL is demonstrated. Programmable frequency steps ranging from 100 kHz to 170 MHz are experimentally obtained, within the whole [0.1;1] GHz tuning range.
