Abstract
A two dimensional model for hysteresis, based on an appropriate assembly of particles with uniaxial anisotropy, associated with finite element analysis, is proposed. The arrangement of particle directions is done following a uniform angular distribution function for the isotropic case and a Gaussian one for the oriented media. The particle interaction and the demagnetizing effects are automatically taken into acount by the proposed method. The model could be applied to any magnetic circuit shape and is intended for study the magnetic recording in storage media.
