Abstract
In recent years, the home use portable color camera and the camera recorder (VTR equipped with camera) market is getting larger. This kind of camera requires to be more compact and light-weighted, and to have a higher quality picture. CCD Image Sensor allows the camera to be small-sized and light-weighted, providing many advantages, such as low image lag, low image burning, precise image geometry, high resistance for magnetic field and mechanical vibration or shock, high stability and long life. However, they have problems peculiar to a solid-state imager, such as aliasing, cross color and necessity of precise three dimensional opto-mechanical locating between lens and CCD imager. To resolve these, CCD Imaging Block are developed. This realizes highly reliable and compact and light-weighted imaging system with high picture quality.
