Abstract :
We first proposed in 1983 a plan for standardization of information distribution networks in a house called Home Bus System (HBS) to realize effective Home Automation (HA) in the world. In this paper we propose a revised new plan called HBS Version 1.2. This plan has been formulated after a number of experiments for various applications have been conducted for four years toward HA and two model houses are already in use for these experiments.
