Abstract :
A general technique for analyzing wire antennas in the presence of a dielectric inhomogeneity is described. The solution is a moment method technique and has the advantage that the dielectric inhomogeneity introduces no new unknowns into the solution. The technique is applied to strip antennas in an electrically thin dielectric slab.
