Abstract
The calculation of the magnetic field in the electric machine end-region is of increasing importance in the design of large machines. A method by which the relatively complicated shape of winding end connections can be approximated in Simple and accurate ways is described. Eddy currents in the stator core and outer covers are taken into consideration.
