Abstract :
A high frequency core loss automatic measuring system is developed by using a waveform memory device and a micro-computer. Sample, temperature, frequency and measuring level are changed automatically. This system can measure core loss, B-H characteristics and amplitude permeability for 20 samples in the frequency range up to 1 MHz. A required time of one experimental point is about 20 seconds from setting level within 5 % error to displaying B-H curve and results. The measured results show a good agreement with the results of multiplying voltmeter method.
