Abstract :
This paper describes the structure and the output characteristics of a 4-pole parametric induction motor. This motor is constructed by three toroidal cores, a cage rotor of a single phase induction motor and two windings. The motor proposed here has low speed rotation and high torque performance in spite of simple construction. The results of this study seem to be useful for the development of industrial applications of the motor.
