Abstract :
On the basis of the Schlömann\´s phaser theory [1] and the Zhu-Lü\´s smatch theory[2], the whole design and synthetical analysis of a waveguide ferrite phaser have been done by using the solution of the characteristic equation for the reduced propagation constant \\Gamma = \\Gamma \´-j\\Gamma \´\´ . Experimental research on this phaser in X-band is carried out, and good agreement between design and experiment is obtained.
