  • Abstract
    Concurrent beacon and wideband f.m. video rainfall fades were measured utilising the Communications Technology Satellite (CTS). Results indicate picture signal/noise ratio during rain attenuation follows that expected for pure attenuation, and video/beacon attenuation ratio is 11¿22% higher than theoretical predictions.
