Abstract :
Three thousand to one analogs have been constructed to determine the flux captured by a MR read head transducer. By determining a sensitivity function for flux captured from a magnetic pole as a function of position, signal pickup, adjacent track pickup, the effect of flying height, and a number of other parameters can be determined for a variety of head structures.
