Abstract
The IEEE synchrophasor standard for power systems C37.118 provides a basis for interoperability of compliant phasor measurement units. A section of this standard deals with tests to enforce measurements error limits. In this letter, we review the verification tests, we point out an ambiguity in the tests, and propose additional conditions to avoid the ambiguity.
