Abstract
A state-of-the-art seismic exploration ship utilizes navigation systems, energy sources, sensors, and recording systems which function together as one integrated system. Methods have been developed to satisfy the special requirements of the marine environment and to achieve high-quality low-cost production. This paper traces data from sensors of various kinds through the elements of the recording systems.
