Abstract :
A theoretical analysis of the sum and difference-squaring circuits for an MOS four-quadrant analog multiplier was carried out. It was shown that the multiplication characteristics should be superior, due to its make up of unbalanced source-coupled pairs with the same small integer value (two or three) gate W/L ratio and by its use with a differential input system
