Abstract :
A domain structure analysis method is presented that was developed to assist in the design of film heads. The method, focusing on the static conditions, confirms the domain structure for minimizing the total free energy. The method is also found to be particularly suitable for the purpose intended, that is, the design of film head and magnetoresistive head yokes.
