Abstract :
An algorithm for solving a large-scale optimization problem concerning decentralized pricing of electrical power has been implemented. To help abstract the communication and layout requirements of the problem away from the main algorithm, a small object system library has been developed. The results are an efficient and easily modifiable solution to the problem and a general approach to solving this class of problems. The formulation of the problem and the object system are considered in detail.<>
