Abstract :
Presents analysis and results, validated by simulation, for dimensioning the loss probability in a time slotted packet switch with shared buffer memory. The model operates in a time slotted fashion: at the end of each slot, N packets will have been transmitted if all N servers had received packets for transmission; if a server has no packet to transmit, it will produce an empty slot
