Abstract
The letter explains the design of an accurate biphase modulator, which uses an ECLIII buffer and an RC network to interface between a baseband digital signal source and a double balanced mixer with two complementary IF ports. Under test, a modulation rate of at least 300 bit/s was achieved, using a carrier frequency up to 1 GHz.
