Abstract :
We have found a simple method which gives the attenuation coefficient in the transmission-line model for a piezoelectric resonator operating in a thickness mode. This attenuation coefficient has been determined in terms of the thickness, static capacitance, piezoelectric coupling constant, resonance frequency and the additional value of the maximum input resistance.
