Abstract :
A novel high-voltage DC block is discussed for use in the microstrip ground plane. Empirical results of the passband characteristics are presented. The integrated, high voltage DC block withstands up to 4 kV in microstrip. The design has been tested in the Ka-band (26.5-40.0 GHz) and achieved less than 0.2 dB insertion loss over a 15% bandwidth.
