Abstract :
We describe the properties of the single junction SQUID operated at microwave frequencies. The low inductance SQUID is fabricated in a thin film format and tightly coupled to an integrated superconducting transmission line and transformer. We discuss new modes of operation and opportunities for improved device and circuit performance.
