  • Abstract
    The applicability of superconducting magnets to high gradient magnetic separators has been studied experimentally. It has been confirmed that weakly paramagnetic materials could be separated efficiently using high magnetic field, generated by superconducting magnets. The industrial application is possible for purification or decontamination of water since the flow rate and the extracting coefficient could be increased by high field.
