Abstract :
The probability of the reverse switching currents Irfrom the finite voltage to the Josephson current state are reported. The results are based on a more general analysis recently developed. The work is relevant in the region of current near the deterministic value Irof the reverse current where noise effects are more relevant. The probability distributions are reported for various values of the junction, noise and bias parameters. A comparison with the distributions of the Josephson critical current is also reported in order to discuss some aspects of the switching dynamics of the junction.
