Abstract :
Continued load growth at the Sellafield nuclear chemical site caused a review of its high-voltage power system and its cabling. Type-test evidence was not available for the newer XPLE cabling systems. The authors describe how tests, in conjunction with the manufacturers, generated the necessary evidence for such a review
