Abstract
A theoretical analysis is presented for the radiation characteristics of millimetre waves in a periodically plasma-induced semiconductor waveguide. The plasma is assumed to be generated by photoexcitation. The dependence of the phase and attenuation constants of TE-polarised waves on the plasma density is investigated numerically.
