  • Abstract
    The Ben diagram is proposed as an alternative to the Venn diagram which carries the same information but has certain advantages including better consistency of representation and a more systematic method of construction. The Ben diagram also lends itself well to representing probabilistic relationships among events. As a tool for teaching event state-space concepts, it is believed to be better than the Venn diagram
