Abstract
Considerations relating to the movement of single ray angle of arrival in the vertical plane on terrestrial microwave systems are examined. Antenna decoupling problems can arise on long links using high frequencies if antennas that are too large are used. An attempt is made to quantify the effects and suggestions are made regarding suitable antennas for such systems.
