The 2007 IEEE Communications Society and Information Theory Society Joint Paper Award was awarded to Amin Shokrollahi for his paper "Raptor Codes," which appeared in the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, vol. 52, no. 6, pp. 2551-2567, June 2006.
