Abstract :
Chebyshev-sense equi-ripple response zeros for uniformly sampled antenna and digital-filter apertures may be obtained through means of a simple geometrical construction. This construction affords insight into the behavior of mapped Chebyshev polynomial zeros in the z -plane for both normal and oversampled, equiripple stop-band, "super-resolution" responses.
