Abstract :
In multidrop unterminated transmission line nets with one driver and many receiver circuits, the receiver located nearest to the driver switches last if it has to wait for the backward travelling wave reflected from the open end of the line. A lower driver impedance solves this problem but produces ringing due to multiple line reflections. In this paper, a dynamic termination circuit is presented that suppresses multiple reflections and ensures first incidence switching but does not have the power dissipation penalty incurred when a terminating resistor is used
