  • Abstract
    A new method of detecting the difference signal in currently proposed stereophonic systems has been presented. The method utilises the feedback technique described by an implicit function which eliminates the need to apply high gain in the feedback loop. Applications of the implicit approach in the CQAM/Motorola AM stereo decoder and the FMX/CBS FM stereo decoder are provided.
