Abstract :
An analytical method based on the uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (UGTD) for predicting accurately the collimation phase error in a planar phased array fed with a corrugated conical horn is presented. The theoretical results are compared with those based on the path length difference procedure for different F/D ratios and for different flare angles of the horn.
