Abstract
The impact of coherence length on the amplitude variations of the delay power profile has been determined by computer simulation using a Rayleigh fading model for each delay bin. The results can be used for choosing the coherence length, over which the transfer function of the radio channel is considered time-invariant, for different wideband mobile radio systems.
