Abstract :
A discussion is made on a new oil transporting system using magnetic coaxial pipe concerning its electrical characteristics and the experimental resuslts on a 150m length test pipeline. When magnetic coaxial pipe is used as a heater, the heat generation occurs uniformly and the voltage of the outside of the coaxial pipe is sufficiently low to be electrically safe even when the frequency is low. This system is applicable to long distance submarine pipelines.
