Abstract :
A variable peaking AGC amplifier with a new circuit configuration is proposed and monolithically integrated by using 1 ¿m Si-bipolar technology. The amplifier exhibits characteristics of l.8 GHz bandwidth, 9 dB maximum gain and 15 dB gain dynamic range, and is 1.8 times superior to nonpeaking amplifiers.
